Next week is the Revelations Zoom Lecture! This is my Zero to Hero approach to all things Tarot! We are going to take it in stages:
Stage 1: First learning the card meanings, then how to use the imagery on each card as an intuitive crib and then how to use a basic structure and story telling techniques to deliver a bespoke, personable reading.
Stage 2: Reinforcing all of this with confidence! Adding simple magic and mentalism techniques, we can insure that even if we don’t feel completely confident at first, we have a strong magic moment to fall back on. A magic moment that helps enhance the reading and not make it feel like a ‘magic trick’.
Stage 3: We will cover readings from a step by step approach. First a ‘1 card reading’, then a ‘forced 3 card reading’ and then finally a fully fleshed out reading of which I will provide some basic scripting ideas!
Stage 4: Tarot tricks! Looking back on some of my previous works and adding some new tricks.
– Including my thoughts on Tossed Out Tarot with some real world performances.
– Using Tarot in a Seance setting in a VERY clever way.
– Horoscope Tarot, a way to find out their star sign in a simple.
– And effective way and even my signature Tarot routine in which 3 cards are selected using a Past, Present and Future structure, an accurate reading is given and then you ask the spectator which one they feel the most drawn to, you then reveal that you had a feeling about them before hand and reveal you knew they would have connected the most to that card!
This is going to be a jam packed course and I know you are going to get a lot out of it! It comes with printable props for some of the routines, printable notes with card meanings and some simple scripting ideas!
